Me and the Black Dog is an animation installation by Kate Owens & Neeta Madahar. It premiered at the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT), Liverpool, in the show, Group Therapy, between March-May 2015. It also showed in libraries across West Berkshire. In October 2015, it is being screened at the film festival IndieCork, in Cork, Ireland, in their World Shorts section. Mental health charity, SANE will be screening Me and the Black Dog on their website from January 2016 as part of their Black Dog campaign which seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues.


Me and the Black Dog was commissioned by FACT and Jacqui Davies Ltd and was funded by Arts Council England and FACT. It was produced by Jacqui Davies and Christoph Steger was the director of Animation.
